Free Entry & Free Parking
The event is free to everyone. Parking is generally $5 but is FREE for school buses and homeschool groups attending the event on Friday.
You are welcome to bring sack lunches to the event. There will be food vendors there both Friday and Saturday and all students and visitors are welcome to purchase their lunch from a vendor with the assistance of their school chaperones.

All historians will be giving presentations as student groups come to them. The following are some special presentations.

8:30 am: Flag Raising Ceremony (Location: Empty Saddle Statue Flagpole)

8:30 am - 4:00 pm: Museum Tours for School Groups

9:00 am - 4:00 pm: Musicians will be performing in the Commissary Building

9:00 am: Reading of Travis’ Letter, Alamo 1836 (Location: Butcher Block)

9:00 am - 2:00 pm: Lipan Apache History Presentations by Anita Anaya & Richard Gonzalez (Location: Lipan Apaches Teepee)

10:00 am: Flag Raising/Lowering/Casing Instruction (Location: Empty Saddle Statue Flagpole)

10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Music by: Michael "Human Juke Box" Clancy (Location: Butcher Block)

11:00 am: Travis’ Letter, Alamo 1836 (Location: Butcher Block)

11:00 am: Drumming by Lipan Men (Location: Lipan Apaches Camp)

11:30 am: Eagle Dance, Eli Xavier Armenta | Location: Lipan Apaches Camp

**With more than 40 possible presentations, we ask school groups to please rotate through the different ‘stations’ every 20 minutes: on the hour, 20 minutes past, and 20 minutes till.
